Description
Context
We are looking for a contributor to create a short, clear tutorial video demonstrating how to integrate the SocialShareButton into a project and wire up the analytics functionality.
This tutorial is meant to help other developers easily understand how to embed our privacy-first share button and track events (like social_share_click and social_share_popup_open) using the supported analytics adapters.
This idea is also part of potential ideas for GSoC 2026 (SEO Project Roadmap). That's why we need high-quality tutorials to demonstrate the button's functionality to future developers and users.

- Clone a Repository: Clone any repository from the AOSSIE-Org (do NOT use the SocialShareButton repository itself).
- Follow Setup Instructions: Follow the instructions provided in the SocialShareButton's README according to the tech stack of the cloned repository to integrate the core button.
- Run Locally: Run the cloned project locally and demonstrate that the share button is functioning properly on the screen(only this part of showing is start of video, not previous steps).
- Integrate Analytics: Proceed to add the analytics integration using one of the adapters (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel, or using debug: true to show events in the console). Show the analytics events successfully firing.
- Submit a PR: Submit a Pull Request to this (SocialShareButton) repository adding the link to your video in the
- if you are facing any issue regrading accessibility feel free to ping me.
Video Guidelines & Rules:
- No Simulations: We prefer not to have any simulations, heavy editing, or synthetic walkthroughs. Just submit a basic, authentic screen-recording video of you completing the steps. Creativity in how you present it is welcomed!
- Time Limit: The video must be concise. Keep it under 150 seconds (2.5 minutes).
- Hosting: You should upload the video to Google Drive, YouTube, or any platform you prefer. However, the video link MUST be publicly accessible directly via the link. (Later, we will upload the selected video to the official AOSSIE YouTube channel)
