Kill Command not working

On Windows 7, the kill command fails to actually stop the command. My node app is still running even after the kill command.

Partially solved with option killCmd. Looking for a better solution.

So then how do you kill the nodejs app running?

Edit:
With something like this?
taskkill /F /IM <processname.exe>

Or is there a more elegant way?
