Desktop/Web: Testing Flutter app for platform-specific usability and compatibility issues

Hi, I’m exploring the Flutter version of the PSLab application to contribute towards improving desktop and web support.

I am currently testing the application on desktop and web platforms to identify usability issues, input handling problems (mouse/keyboard interactions), and layout inconsistencies compared to the mobile version.

I would like to document any issues I encounter and work on fixing them where appropriate.

Please let me know if this approach aligns with the project goals, or if there are any specific areas that need attention first.

I tested the Flutter web version of the PSLab application on Chrome. The overall functionality and UI appear to be working well.

I will continue testing additional scenarios such as window resizing, input interactions (mouse/keyboard), and other screens to identify any platform-specific usability improvements or inconsistencies.

Please let me know if there are particular areas that should be prioritized for desktop/web stabilization.

Hi! I'm a GSoC 2026 applicant interested in
contributing to PSLab and FOSSASIA

I would like to work on this issue. Here is my plan:

1. Set up Flutter development environment on Windows
2. Build and test the web version of PSLab app
   on Chromium based browsers
3. Document any issues or bugs found
4. Add the web build to CI pipeline
5. Submit fixes via pull requests

I am a beginner contributor but committed to learning.
Could a mentor please guide me on where to start?

I would like to help test the Flutter desktop and web builds and document any UI or usability issues I find. If possible, I can also try fixing small issues discovered during testing.
