The description of the paper seems quite inspiring because extracting quad meshes from parametrizations is really non-trivial.
I came here from the latest work of Corman and Crane, but contrary to theirs, here it's very hard for non experts to make this run. The installation is tedious and there is not any information either in the readme or any other file on how to use this library. After days that I managed to install the QExStatic, I see no instructions or guided examples about how to actually get a quad mesh for a specific surface and parametrization.
