Input SQL is empty!

When i select the SQL and use SQL format context menu I get error as below

Input SQL is empty!

Note that I am using Windows 7 enterprise

I also had this issue but I figured out the fix. Here goes ...
You probably have the previous version of the fo.json file in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\plugins\Config\sqlformat" folder. The older version is almost 180k in size. The new one (which is much better by the way) is 17k in size and is much easier to read. This file was taken from the repository here and I have modified some of the on_one_line entries into stacked, because that is the way I prefer it. Therefore, the fix is ...

(1) navigate to the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\plugins\Config\sqlformat" folder (but remember to exchange the drive and install path if it is not the same as mine.

(2) move the fo.json file in the folder to a different folder (maybe documents) this will back it up.

(3) you have a couple of options here, you can either obtain the original file options file from the repository or use mine (attached); to obtain from this repository follow these instructions ...
(3.1.) Navigate through the repository on this site to bin -> config/sqlformat folder and click on the fo.json link. You will be sent to the page that has the fo.json file contents displayed. Copy the contents into a new notepad++ file and save to replace the fo.json file that you moved out.

 (3.2) Alterntively you can save the attached file with my changes as fo.json to the same folder, but because it wont let me post a .json file I have posted it as fo.json.txt so you will need to remove the .txt extension so that it is called fo.json again.

(4) Restart notepad and try to use the sql format plugin. It should work.

Here is an simple example sql query that should work with the plugin..

SELECT field1, field2, Count( * ) amount FROM TABLEA GROUP BY field1,field2
